Sourcing Yarn

Knitting
Knitting of fabric is done using modern machines. The unit comprising of 76 circular knitting machines & 8 Flat knitting machines which are capable of producing 13 to 15 ton of Griege fabric a day. Knitting of fabric is done using modern machines.

Interim Inspection
Greige inspection-- The knit fabric is inspected thoroughly for defects like cuts, holes, needle lines knots & lycra breaks. The fabric is rejected if it does not pass the requisite tests.

Griege Warehouse
The griege warehouse manages the Griege fabric before it is sent for further processing which includes dyeing or printing. The warehouse slits the tubular fabric to open fabric for dyeing.

Processing Lab
We are equipped with a fully furnished R&D lab which provides us with precision dye colour & colour matching. The Lab is equipped with advance technology from the United Kingdom. The Thermo dye, Thermo chem & Thermo powder recipe management enhances first time dying levels, eliminating manual errors.

Dyeing
The Dyeing of fabrics is done using single rope machines of various capacities capable of handling about 30 tons of fabric a day. The dyeing is done using a low-liquor & low fabric-friction ratio reducing the waste water produced. The VDU system provides complete control over the various parameters of dyeing. The dyeing machines are supported by auto colour and chemical dispensing system

Printing
Printing is one of the most important value adding aspect in the processing of the fabric. The printing is done using revolutionary printing machines. We provide printing as a value-added service for external mills with a dedicated printing unit along with their regular printed fabrics. Mercury provides modern types of prints on the fabrics. The sample printing machines produce fabrics which are 100% usable.

Finishing
The finishing of the fabric plays a very vital role as it connects to the senses of the customer as it defines the look, feel and performance of the fabric. A considerable value is added by applying one or more finishing processes to the fabric.

QC & Assurance
The fabric is physically tested for various parameters like GSM value, shrinkage post washing and bursting strength. The fabric is inspected thoroughly using international four point system protocol, failing which the fabric is further inspected into.
